Any plans for a T rated Skyrim for the future or mods?

In gonna let this one go. Let's just say I don't agree and ill leave it at that :)

You can disagree all you wantbut unless you live under a rock it's a fact. You can't protect your kids all the time and if you do you aren't saving them from anything. In fact you are hurting them in the long run.

Like others here I believe kids need a bit of slack rather than a taut leash.

My friends kids are the closest thing I'll have to kids of my own. (Known them their whole lives.) I lived with them for most of their lives. One could even say I had rather large part in raising them.

We, their parents and I, grandma/grandpa to, never really hid anything from them. They had to learn at an early age what a junky, and dirty needles were. We lived on a street that had a couple different crack shacks come and go over the years. They needed to know that needles were dangerous and to never touch them. They knew and understood about drug addiction by the age of 5. Kids are not dumb.

They play Skyrim, Fallout:NV, Fallout 3, God of War, the Fable series. They are very well balanced, kind kids, and very intelligent for their age. They are 8 and 10 currently.

I'd let my kid/s play if I had kids. I know we all have our own views on parenting though. I just think Skyrim is pretty tame in the end. Not worth the concern of an M rating.

Skyrim is not a bad game at all...barely any cursing..barely any gore and the sixual references are so obscure you might not even notice them...your son should be able to play this

Yeah, I had to load a blood 'n gore mod to feel like I wasn't playing the Barney version.

If they would just let us have an option to turn off the kill cams then I would let my ten y/o play this game. Outside of the killcams its really not that bad.

As for sixual or drug references I'm sure my kid hears worse on the bus ride everyday to school.

I would also though like to see T rating return to this series. I think writers have to be more creative when they can't just drop an f-bomb or decapitate somebody for shock value. But I guess that is what Skryim has been tailored for.

FONV did a lot of cussing and sometimes it seemed kind of sophomoric to me.

LOL - I actually have loaded up a fair amount of raspberry jam mods. I don't think the vanilla is bloody enough to be honest, given the weaponry being used...!

The content in this game is very mild you see worse on cable TV. The Walking Dead comes to mind. If the kid is thirteen they probably have seen worse either in real life or on some other form of media. It's not good to shelter children from things and hide things from them. Rating are really an annoyance inflicted on us by people with nothing better to do, its up to us on what we think is appropriate for us and our children.

F-bomb? The meanest cussing I've heard so far is " You milk-drinker!" Serious stuff, there. As for heads flying and blood flowing, that stuff just kinda happens when you hit people with a 3-foot long,15-pound sharpened steel bar. Probably wouldn't be awfully hard to leave out some of that for the sheltered teens who think of midieval combat as fairy tale cinderalla stuff though, I guess. Mods.

I'm pretty sure they never say the f bomb in skyrim.
