any river waterfall tutorial done?

waterfalls are relatively easy.

they use 4 parts

the waterfall moveable static mesh
waterfall mist particle blast (moveable static mesh)
splash moveable static mesh
waterfall sound file


go to world objects > moveableStatic and search waterfall
go to world objects > moveableStatic and search splash
go to audio > sound marker and search waterfall and/or splash

I mean mostly for the water , how Do I place this river water that flows? I cant find any static and I cant select the water is may be somekind of stuff to set in cell?

You can set the water level in the cell properties for exterior cells, or you can simply use activator water objects. Filter "water" in the Activator section to find them.

it looks like the water only makes sounds if they're deep enough. Is this correct? is there no way to make shallow pools with the sound of splashing as i walk through them?

Nope. My testers noticed this too. If you make shallow pools of water it wont splash. This happens in vanilla too.

what about the river in Whitrun? the one going around the interior of the city makes sounds while you're running through it.

Ok, the river that surrounds whiterun doesn't make the splash sound - it's actually the texture of the ground under it that has the sound effect of splashing built into it. It seems like there really isn't a way to make shallow water splash unless you've got the sound built into the nif.
