Any secrets underwater?

Just got me the waterbreather and been swimming underwater looking for some goodies. Has anyone found any?

There's a B-29 sunken in a fair amount of water in Lake Mead East of Camp Golf, and I believe there's a cave near it as well.

but to answer OP's question......i personally haven't looked yet, but at boulder city campgroun/beach (assuming you haven't been there yet) a woman stantioned there mentions that something is underwater there since even before the war if my memory serves me right....try there, but again this is assuming you haven't been there yet

While listening to the radio earlier Mr.Vegas was talking about a huge monster that had been spotted in the lake. Might just have been the Lakelurks though.

I've found only 3 underwater caves so far. -If- you don't have a rebreather to use, I suggest bringing -alot- of Turbo so you can slow down your oxygen loss while you explore.

I wouldn't call that bomber a secret as you get a quest marker right ontop of the damned thing.

So far I haven't found anything interesting underwater, but I haven't explored much either.

Talk to the guy that gives you the quest to raise the bomber. He should mention talking to Jack about a rebreather Jack was making. You'll either have to find him an item he needs to finish it, or have the skill [I think it was Science] high enough to give him a different solution to the problem.

I've explored the entire length of the river and there isn't major underwater except the bomber, which doesn't even appear until you activate the quest. There are some sunken containers but they don't contain anything major. A previous poster mentioned underwater caves, I didn't see any myself but then again I was mostly sticking to the middle of the river.

There is a monster in the lake, but you have to have the Wild Wilderness perk from the start (including if you want to see the UFO in the north also and a few strange things when attacking/defending the Dam)
