Any side quests you just flat out enjoyed?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 12:37 pm

I've done my fair share of wandering, I've completed most of the daedra quests, the main quest, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Companions and a slew of side quests. I'm just curious if there were some other side quests you thoroughly enjoyed that I might want to try.

The quest you get from Falk Firebeard is one of my favorites

Nah. All the miscellaneous side quests can all be grouped into one of three categories so they get extremely repetitive very quickly.

I liked the one with Erandur in Dawnstar. With out posting any spoilers I will say that it opened up alot of role playing possibilities.

I thought the Forsworn quests were fun until they ruined my game

Other then that a majority of the quests are to repetitive and lacking.

Probably the one in Morthol where you start out by investigating a burned house next to the Jarl's palace. I'll leave out the details, but the quest was just so interesting and had many twists and turns until the exciting end.

Every daedric quest I've done so far. Specifically Mehrune's Dagon.

That one was excellent!

I also enjoyed Sanguine's quest a great deal.

I like the one where you get drunk and wake up in the Chapel of Dibella. I think it's called A Night to Remember.

No, not really.

Missing In Action remains bugged, and I cannot do it using the diplomatic approach. Blood on the Ice was decent, if only I didn't have to reload it 3 times to get it right for my Necromancer's Amulet since it was incredibly prone to screw ups. I didn't try Morthal's quest and I just read it up on UESP. It has a decent plot, but given the overall quality presentation of the dialogs in Skyrim I can safely say I did not miss much.

The daedric quests are just plain awesome. I'm not much for questing, but the legions quest line is very very fun for me.
I just prefer wandering throughout the game. Take roads, don't take roads. Explore every cave and dungeon youndiscover or don't. Loot every weapon worth taking or don't. Just do whatever, and it comes to you naturally. As an example, near dawn star I got a companion whilst wandering, which is just plain cool. Anyways, I suggest you just do whatever. :)

Liking the companions but there story gets kind of turded wish a DLC with quests for vamps and extended werewolf quests that actuly require you to be in your werewolf form.

I liked the Forsworn Conspiracy, but it's lame even though if you come out pro-Forsworn they always attack you in the hills

Forsworn Conspiracy was one of the best.

Molag Bal's quest I never even finished, but the starting of it was great, really liked his voice too.

The three I can think of off the top of my head that I loved were...

A Night To Remember. It caught me completely by surprise.

The burned house in Morthal.

Forbidden Legend. I did that one with my Mage and it just felt appropriate with my character and the way I'm Roleplaying him.

Have you tried befriending the Orc tribes? Not a long quest, but after it is nice to stop at their encampments, trade, and talk Malacath for awhile ...
