Cool. I'm not alone then.
Probably do need some kinda help. Went to a friends and he was playing Skyrim. He goes into his house, Honeyside, and drops his loot into a chest. In this chest are all his items. ALL OF THEM!! I When i said "what the hell", he just gives me a blank puzzled look and says "what??".
lol
I did that at first, and eventually separated items just because the chest was so full that it operated slowly - and still does, really. I'm still using the house in Whiterun mostly, and I've got all jewelry (rings, necklaces, circlets, etc) in the left nightstand, books that won't fit on the bookshelves in the right one, clothes in the dresser, potions and scrolls in the chest in the Alchemy room, alchemical ingredients in the apothecary's pouch on the alchemy table, food ingredients in the wardrobe/shelf beside the door to the alchemy room, and all smithing supplies and equipment, from ores to ingots, to unused gems to enchanted smithing-improving items in the barrel under the stairs.
All other treasure, be it weapons, armor, mammoth tusks or dragon bones and scales, goes in the chest/footlocker in the bedroom.
What I want, though, is a house with like a zillion armor dummies around so that I can have one of every kind of armor on display as trophies.
