Any way to be a bounty hunter?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 6:06 am

Is there? I was hoping to roleplay as Bossk(Star Wars bounty hunter) and as a backstory he got placed on an unknown planet with no way to escape and lost all his weapons, thus having to learn the ways of the people.

So is there anyway to be a bounty hunter?

Yeah, kill the individuals with bounties on their heads and then collect your payment.

Go into any bar and talk to the bartender. "I'm looking for work, got any leads?" is the proper dialogue choice I believe. They will say something like "Here, the Jarl's men dropped this off" and a paper with the individual's location will appear in your inventory and you will get a quest in miscellaneous. They are always bosses in dungeons or camps, giants, or dragons. No civilian bounties, that's what the Dark Brotherhood is for. They are also always dead only bounties, no capture options. The pay is paltry but you make good money clearing the dungeons and looting the chests. All you have to do to collect the fee is follow the quest marker to the Jarl's steward and inform him that you have killed the mark. Once again, if you're interested in civilian marks, the Dark Brotherhood is for you.

talk to hold stewards for the quests, once I had a woman run up and tell me she escaped from a ruin filled with bandits too, I think you might be able to eavesdrop on guards for infested locations from time to time, though Im not sure if either of the 2 latter have the "bounty" reward at the end

The locations guards give you are not bounty related. They are just giving you places to explore ...

Bounty Hunting isn't special. You basically just kill bandits. You should join the Dark Brotherhood, since a Bounty Hunter can be classed as an Assassin, and then you'll get actual scripted Bounty Targets.

For the most part..... when I get to a city I try to learn the city (where things are and who) and a part of that for me is learning the surrounding lands. A bounty from an Inn will take you to a lot of places around a cities "area". If you want to be a bounty hunter... do just that - take on bounties and clean up the lands. And of course as said above the dark brotherhood has more specialized bounties.
