So when I was going after the achievement to get the 1k bounty in all holds at once, of course I just fast traveled to each one and killed people. What I didn't think through, was that the main one I went on a rampage in, was in Whiterun, which tends to be my home town. My bounty got to 30k+ there and when I served my time, I noticed that I had permanently killed off some off the vendors I tend to use a lot, (primarily noting the the black smithing chick right as you get into Whiterun, and Belthor, the General Goods guy) I was hoping they'd eventually come back, but they haven't. So are there any ways to get them back? Thanks.

yes, if you are on pc you can spawn or resurrect them via the console

if not, start a new game

and remember, its never a good idea to kill off en entire town and save the game after

Supposedly Ysolda will assume Belethor's inventory, but I think you have to be out of the cell for 10 or 30 game days. She won't be in his shop, but she supposedly takes on his inventory and money.

That would be an awesome reason to kill Belethor. He's slimy, and she's cool. More importantly, no load times going in and out of a store.

I've never been able to test it because I can't stay away from Whiterun for 30 days since it's like my HQ.

Ysolda inherits the Bannered Mare if Hulda dies, so once Belethor is dead, his store is pretty much useless since Sigurd won't take over.

Also, Adrianne is at least survived by her husband, Ulfberth War-Bear. I don't think he inherits her inventory/gold, but he's always had his own separate inventory and such. He's inside the shop when they're open.
