Anybody Else Finding The Game Damn Near Unplayable?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:00 am

Every game I get into I can barely move there's so much lag, yet my connection is green (or maybe that's lagging behind too).

Seriously SD, they make demos and public/private betas for a reason.

Yes, I can't play at all. The lag is incredible.

Add me to the list. I will admit, there are people with higher bandwith than me, but I don't have any issues playing on line with the xbox. This game is impossible right now. I take a step or move forward and suddenly I am right back where I started. It reminds me of the lag in Socom 2 back in the old days of playing with a 56k modem. You guys need to get to work to fix this game. This game is really made for multi player. There isn't much motivation to play otherwise.

I joined for the same reason. I don't normally bother to complain about issues in a game. Nobody's perfect. Not everybody has the staff and funding to make a game as polished as a COD. Even if you don't care for the game, you must admit is is polished and runs smooth. However, After getting burned by Homefront recently, I am not in the mood to spend two or three weeks playing a game that is for the most part broken because of the online issues.

Try switching from the standard playlist (8v8) to the competition (5v5) another post on here suggested that and its been working for me, somethin about that 8v8 i guess isn't ready yet idk.

I've been just playing with bots to train so I wouldn't know, although this is disapointing news reguardless. Is this lag only on the XBOX version or is the PC version okay with its server features and what not?

The lag makes it unplayable. Once that is fixed, the game will be amazing.

Yea it's literally unplayable for me in this state, as soon as I beat the campaign on my 2nd character I'll probably just go back to BC2 and wait for news of a patch.

It was pretty terrible to the point that I joined and ended matches a minute into the game several times. I don't know what I did but the rest of the games for the night were fine. No lag at all. If they can fix the lag, or the lag fixes itself everything will be golden. :intergalactic:

Exactly!Still, complaining without trolling/flaming is good, they want to learn the issues the game has so they can fix them and as far as i know lagging is something that can be fixed.

We only need what we don't have....a little patience.

Yesterday was release day, of course there was lag. It was the first time that the servers had people filling them up online, and no major patch has been released yet. It was bad for me at first yesterday, but as the night went on, the amount of lag reduced. Just give it some time, this is what happens when you buy a game on release day that never had a public beta.

On launch day there will always be issues... even more so with a P2P system. We all just have to be patient for this game to be successful.

Play in the Competition play list, instead of standard. Way less lag.

The game ran silky smooth on my first campaign play through with people (started a game and they just randomly started showing up mid round), but everything after that has been pretty bad and I'm not talking about P2P, this is low ping servers on PC :/
