Yep, a lot of people. KZ2 and Brink both appeal to the same kind of player.

I play this game and K3 on the side. The missions in Brink remind me of K3's Operations mode.

really? i hardly ever saw any teamwork on kz3. i havent played it since psn went down. bought brink for pc. i did play kz3 with the sharpshooter and psmove. i hate fps with controllers. nowhere near as good as using mouse & keys

I just got a PS3 last weekend (got $100 off the 160 slim through gamestop). To be honest, I mainly got the PS3 because I wanted a nice blu-ray player and read lots of reviews that rated the PS3 as a very solid blu-ray player. 200 bucks for a Blu-Ray player that can also play games...why not!?

I mainly play on the 360 which I've had for years so I'm pretty new to PS3. How does KZ2 stack up. Should I get KZ2 or jump straight into KZ3? Will I be missing much if I do that? I know this is a Brink forum. I like Brink, but i'm playing that on the 360. Not gonna invest another 60 to get it for PS3, sorry. Anyway, just thought I'd ask you PS3 guys for some advice on the whole KZ series and any recommendations for other PS3 exclusive titles.

Don't mean to hog the forum with PS3 unrelated Brink talk, so you can PM me if you like. Thanks!

I noticed two glaring similarities.

weak turrets and similar graphic style. Especially in container city and shipyard.

KZ2 is pretty much the greatest PS3 exclusive shooter to date. 2 years after its release and its still boasting +50k players. KZ3 on the hand was a flop, basic CoD clone. Which is fine if you like CoD, but it lost all the originality of KZ2, and many of its shiny new features (jetpacks, mechs) were implemented in unfair ways.

So.....yeah, I'd go with KZ2. If you get into it, send me a pm, and I'll show you something you might find interesting.
