I got New Vegas when it launched and because of the case/disk It has a crack in the center. It has not had any effect on game play but I found it ridiculous that it would be s fragile. It has not been through lack of care either, because I have had Halo Reach and it has endured a lot more then New Vegas yet it is in mint condition. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their disk or if I drew the short end of the stick here.

well my new vegas disk hasnt left my 360 yet, so i dont even know what it looks like anymore. but my first copy of modern warfare 2 cracked completely becuase of the case, it started out as just a little crack in the center and then as i took it in and out of the case it got longer. its the center holder being made to riggid that does it. my recomendation, get a different case or dont ever put it in a case.

No but this game likes go load ever so slowly. The FPS drops so much even for the 360.

That very much for the suggestion I will make sure to do that.

Probably because of those flimsy ass envioronmentally friendly cases that the disc is damaged. My video game cases for the 360 feel like they don't protect the game much at all because of the huge cutout in them.

Fortunately, unless you ordered through a fly-by-night cheapass retailer, most will replace a defective/broken disk. If not, it would appear it's TSSBBA ("too sad, so bad, buy another")

This is yet ONE MORE reason I will argue against anyone saying STEAM distribution of the PC version is inferior. You never need risk scratching a disk or losing the manual with the CD key or wherever you wrote down the CD key, so long as Steam and Valve exist your game with work! Digital Distribution for the absolute win.

I blame the new cheap cases for cracking disks.
