Nah, only with character creation maybe. "That cheekbone height is one point too low. Damnit. Reroll."

There's really quite a lot of good gear at the beginning. All the stuff from Helgen, 3 or so bandit camps close to riverwood, some thalmor robes. I end up getting more than enough money. Maybe 2000 gold total before I even get close to whiterun.

That isn't OCD.

OCD is making sure the linen wraps don't spell out the end of the world via random cluttering the floor. Or making sure the baskets on your table are neat and tidy.

Last week I calculated I had accumulated 10.000+ carry weight in various containers in homes. That's not even counting the stuff I hoarded off to merchants.. :ermm:

I'm not sure it is an OCD, but I really feel the urge to collect things in this game. Same as that I feel extremely compelled to scour every nook and cranny of every dungeon.

Pretty much my greatest obsessive element on the game. 'This face looks slightly different under the lighting conditions in this dungeon that I will never enter again.'

...

*Restarts*

I'm disturbingly obsessive over the facegen, I love messing around with character creation/customisation tools as it is, pretty sure I'm just giving myself the excuse to mess with it again. >_<

Did you collect the Mora Tapinella inside the tutorial dungeon?

Well, my OCD is rearing its ugly head when it comes to decorating my Dovahkiin Hideout. The new version of the mod has a bar, so now I'm collecting every wine/mead bottle I see and since the last patch made it possible to grab items to place them, I have to place the booze bottles perfectly on the shelves and the bar in my hideout. <> is that an aggravating endeavor, let me tell you!! But I HAVE to do it!! It usually means I knock over a few bottles trying to position them *Just So* and that takes FOREVER. I could be doing so many other, more time worthy things but do I? No! I keep at it until I'm satisfied and suddenly I'm a perfectionist. Sigh. :(

And I have no OCD tendacies irl. Kinda scary.

You just described me.

If I do so much as kick a basket or move a potion on a shelf, I'll re-load a previous save so it's in the correct place.

I have a character that has depleted or killed everything within a half hour walk of the place the character has decided to call home, just to collect ingredients and crafting materials. This could be OCD if the character collected every clothes iron/cooking utensil/book/dropped weapon and piece of armor without the intenion of ever using them.

I also like to travel every corner in every dungeon to pick up ALL the mushrooms...

OMG OMG OMG.

I do pick up everything just to make sure nothing is underneath it or behind it. I move corpses around, move them out of the way and pile them up in dark corners. If somewhere some piece of bread or cheese falls of the table do I pick it up and move it back into place. I empty every barrel, pick up every bucket, plate and large and solid dwemer struct, I harvest every mushroom, and kill all deers, wolfs and bears in range. I catch all bees and wait for more to come out of their hive and catch them again, and again, until it stops.

Where I go I leave nothing behind but death and emptiness.

Im obsessive with character creation and naming my character. Name has to be according to 'lore' and particularly not used by another npc. Once in Morrowind i had a dunmer with a specific name that after level 30, i ran into an npc that had the same last name as my characters first. It ate away at me until i stopped playing him

I have to pick up every ingredient that I come across, even though I don't even do alchemy. I'll be in the middle of a dragon fight, with a sabertooth coming at me from the distance, and I'll run over and grab all the flowers. Now, I'm done with the important part, I can see about fighting dragons and sabertooths.

Lol, kinda this too.

Guy, we know you're in there. Just back away, slowly, from the keyboard. Doc, will you hit the close button on that character creation screen...?

If you think this is tough, try Darklands character creation. Several dozen skills, you take your character from around 8 to maturity, selecting background, preferences, and training for every few years. You can even decide when to stop, trading off attributes that decrease with age over skills that increase. ;)

But overall, getting a decent face in Skyrim is much, much easier than in Oblivion. It was easy to create something hideous in that game, and I spent days creating halfway decent faces for each race and both sixes in my mannequins mod. Here, it took me about 5 minutes to get someone reasonably attractive. Top marks to gamesas for that.

Not sure it qualifies as "OCD" but I do check all the little vases and what-not in draugr dungeons and the like. Seems wasteful not to with this almost useless gold bonus Imperials get.

I get OCD of some kind with all of the Elder Scrolls games lol. With this one I have chronic restart syndrome from a mixture of having to have my characters look just right and also just always wanting to make completely new ones since all the races look so great.

I am unhealthy inventory management problem. I am unable to leave on a trip unless I have anything unessential stored. Even if I pick up a single snowberry on my way out, I will go back to my house and put it away :/

When I first buy a house, I go around and pick up ALL the food items. I can't stand seeing food left out. I'm the same way in RL though, everything has to be in an airtight container or the fridge or both. All the wicker baskets go, just becuase I don't like them. Most of the plates and cups, gone. I really don't like clutter.

I redecorate, my style.

Huh, not really OCD.

OCD would be going in my home & noting that all the corpses I have collected are in order.
