Anyone ever play a cloth warrior?

Thinking of making a true adventurer, a bard type character, i guess.

Just wearing clothes and wielding a one handed sword. making use of alteration and restoration for defense. With a high speech skill for bartering

Enchanting will be a must as there just aren't enough unique clothing outside of robes and perhaps cicero/jester's clothes.

I like varieties of characters but I don't like the kind that make my ass get kicked.

I'd suggest illusion in the left hand if you're going the bard route after you cast your flesh spells. When your health gets low, calm the target, heal up, and start the fight again.

Looking back at Morrowind, Skyrim Bard should probrably have speech, alchemy, blade, block, illusion, enchant and lockpicking.

I did this once in Oblivion. A claymore-wielding Warrior who wore only clothes. No Enchanting and no enchanted weapons. No magic. When things went wrong they went very wrong, and fast. I had to stay on my toes. It was exhilarating, and fun.

Huh? Lisette, in The Winking Skeever, wears armor.

I'm not sure I understand why a bard is limited to non-armor clothing.

I was thinking about that actually.

I was actually thinking of using a shield, but even without it... mage armor 3/3, lord stone, and if i really need the defense a greater ward will give me 430 armor rating, not too shabby for wearing clothes.
