(MAJOR MAIN QUEST SPOILERS)

Just before you go into Sovengarde to kill Alduin you fight a Dragon Priest with a neat staff that spreads lightning on the ground. Can I go back to the portal to get the staff?

Has anyone tried saving at weird times while it's in your inveotory (does it even go into your inventory)? ...like the glitch where you can sell your stuff to a vendor, save, and reload and you have your stuff and the vendor has no money? :confused:

In fact, I dont think Skuldafn is really in the Skyrim map at all. I noticed when Im facing north and pull up the map the map icon shows me facing south. So in other words, even if you could climb the mountains to where it is supposed to be you still couldnt get to it.
