When i am joining a game there are no lags. The lags comes often if the host changes.

I've only ever had one issue with lag, which was when i had 3 large files being downloaded on my connection (i live in a forest so my internet speed can be compared to smoke signals)

Lag is pretty nonexistant for my perspective, BUT you may want to check your NAP settings on your router, maybe configure a DMZ connection on the xbox

I get lag like 75% of the time in Freeplay, if I get a lag free Freeplay Public game, I know its a good day. But Campaign versus/co-op seems to have pretty minimal lag so I just stick to that because it's essentially the same thing.

It's on and off for me. If I get 6+ people on my team I'm more likely to see it, but I've actually had a few games with a full 16 player complement that ran lag free. At the same time I've been in a game with six people total between both teams that stuttered so bad I actually just had to quit, which I generally avoid doing whenever possible.

I play the Competition play list, and there's a lot less lag there.

Playing the Competition mode helps a lot, as does playing co-op mode in the campaign. Also, you can check to see if anything else is using up your internet, such as your PC or other consoles. Occasionally, you might have to restart your modem or wireless router depending on your setup.
Also, other people's bad connections can screw up the match, and you can check that on the scoreboard. It also will lag right before the host changes.
So far I haven't had that much that couldn't be fixed through one of these methods.

I'd say about 50% of my matches are laggy. Its odd, all the players in the match seem to have full green connection, but yet if I get lag, it'll be so bad that I can't even look around, let alone move.

My tactic to avoid lag is now 'If I join a laggy match, quit out and try and find a different one', and it actually works most of the time within 1/2 attempts. Then I just end up sticking to a not laggy lobby.

I have had a mix of games, I'd say about 60/40 split of good vs. laggy games, respectively.

The majority of the games I play are lag-free, but just over half.
