Anyone upset from the total silence coming from Bethesda?

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 11:23 pm

I'm surprised they haven't acknowledged this at all. None of their twitter accounts mention this; but they're posting videos of 2,500 cheeses rolling down a hill. And I don't get why they keep taking down these topics from the general board. Its not like everyone hangs at the Issues board, is it that bad to inform users not to get their game saves broken?

And a totally BROKEN magic protection? AND Dragons that fly --- backwards?

Did they even test this latest patch? :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:

Since most anything they say will be will be smashed to bits, slapped all over would-be critic sites just looking for ad-sense hits, No. I think they are holding their cards close to their chests and playing it smart.

Some will say it's Bad. Some of Us have been around long enough to accept it and understand what the internets Is now about.

People like honestly.

If they just came out and put their massive egos ( Looking at you, Mr. Howard ) aside, and admit they [censored] up, people will calm down and understand.

Well now,i hope that the developers read this forum because i don't think that Skyrim is going to make game of the year like that master piece Oblivion !!!!,why it had to be only released on Steam is beyond me,UPDATES SHOULD BE OPTIONAL ONLY !!!!!!!!!,YEAH YOU BET THEY'LL BE QUIET BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL PROBABLY DOWNING PINA COLADAS,on a sunny beach somewhere while us mere mortals are at the stage of chucking the game in the bin!!!,i play on PC and before this update i was running fine, now my controls are all screwed up i can't use my mouse for lockpicking, the only way i can lockpick now is revert all my controls back to default, pick the bloody lock, then go and redo my controls again.Perhaps someone else has worked this problem out ? be good to hear if it has been resolved.

Wow.

I especially had a lol at the "former employee" bit.

Call it a hunch, but I doubt you've ever worked on anything Bethesda-related except for working at typing all this without keeping it on caps lock.

Patch was only just released today. They're probably going to wait a day or two before they make an official statement on anything.

Companies are funny like that, not wanting to jump the gun until they have a more full picture of what's what with their product.

I'd personally bet that more than 95% of the people talking about dragons flying backwards haven't actually seen it happen in game. It's called "bandwagoning". Nobody listens to you after a while.

Haha, can you blame them?

In all honestly though, it's been less than a day. Maybe skyrim isn't the most important thing in their lives right now?

Tom Howard said before launch they can release patches "On the fly" In just a few hours.

Where is that fantastic system, Tom?

Why not push code to fix THE DAMN MAGIC RESISTANCE BUGS

The PR department probably doesn't want to say anything prematurely, knowing just how petulant the fanbase is; just look how people had a conniption when Todd committed the sin of mentioning Call of Duty during an interview back in the summer.

Perhaps they are offering cheese to go with your whine?

Seriously, though, I'd rather they were hard at work fixing the fix than wasting time on the forums addressing complaints.

Back in the day if a game had a bug, you svcked it up. You didn't have forums to whine about it on. You found a way around it. You didn't nitpick every little thing about a game until you couldn't see the world beyond your own red nose. You were just pleased to be part of a fantasy universe. Calm the hell down.

The only thing ive noticed is that there are odd times when you go collect something for a quest, then upon finishing the quest the object isn't removed from your inventory. You can't drop it as its a quest item. Low and behold i'm now running around Skyrim with the drum that had to be collected for one of the bards quest.

This drum weighs 4 points and as I'm a light character that 4 points is a huge burden to me.
I would love to see this issue fixed as its really infuriating to find i can't pick up something i need as i'm carrying this extra weight penalty. :brokencomputer:
