Anyone use the console command to marry a khajiit?

I want to keep my Khajiit follower with me when I get him so is there a console command that will set him to a permanent follower status. I don't want him to go back to the caravan if I happen to do the companion quest line or the thieves guild. I don't care if there is no marriage dialogue. That's not my point. I don't want to have to track him all over the place to find him again and would rather he hang out at my house.

The console command doesn't work because there is no marriage dialogue for any Khajiit. It doesn't work on other characters with unique voice actors, either.

I know you don't care that there's no dialogue, but the game does, and the console command doesn't work if the voice files aren't there.

Is there any way to keep a non-marriable companion from returning to their usual haunt when dismissed at least?

There's no ACTUAL housing (arch-mage's quarters are pretty meh) anywhere remotely close to Winterhold, but J'zargo is my regular companion (http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/630734416996770031/B72FE3CC1F7A730133499CAF4312B083B0777CB9/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/630734417003270571/343EFBF7B1BDEA97E134A1BB3ED1A1E9249D29C5/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/630734417004199186/0A93A2D24F094714F8BCD48DC1B71FAE35633D31/), but alas, I can't keep him around outside of the college grounds when not adventuring together. Such a crime, to keep them seperated ;p

Those screenshots are so cute! But, alas, I don't think there's any way to change that. It would be nice, though, if you didn't have to marry a follower character in order to ask them to move into your house, so you could find them more easily. If there's not a mod for that already, I hope there will be.

The main reason I never use J'zargo is because if I decide to send him back for whatever reason, it's a pain to go get him again... (Well, that and he tried to kill me with his silly quest, the sneaky Khajiit.)

I guess those who are on PC can probably expect the modders to fix stuff like this. For console.... probably no hope.

It was a HUGE oversight on Bethesda's part once again. It's ridiculous that you don't have a home base that is recognized by your companions unless you marry them. There was no reason not to have a command to have followers stay at your home. I can see having only one companion with you at a time, but to not have them recognize your home is really....sad.

Nah the marriage one doesn't work :( - the FAQ is just worded awkwardly, it means the "make any character a follower" batch file works on any male khajiit (but even then not females) which is sort've a moot point in my case since the khajiit in question is a natural follower option, but the marriage batch file still doesn't work on khajiit or bosmer of either six
