Anyone worried that the Vampire Lord magic attacks will be r

Comparable to Destruction.

And since they will use magicka and you will not be able to have enchanted gear equipped I fear you'll run out of mana before a single guard is dead. I hope not, but anyone else have the same concerns as me?

I'm worried they will be too powerful, comparable to destruction.

After watching the gameplay footage from E3 i'm also thinking this. Thank heavens they are having a beta first.

I've read interviews and reviews that say they're magic is really powerful, and they're physical attacks are really "rubbish"

That's because they're meant to be magic orriented, contrast to the melee based werewolf.

There is a perk to add poison damage to their melee attacks, so that shouldn't be half bad.

To those that say the attacks are powerful, what difficulty was it played on?

Dual casted incinerate is excellent...until you take the game off of adept.

With more silver weapons(added to the NPC weapon choice, not only DG/Silver Hand) and more bonuses I'd say Vamps should be worried more.

It makes a lot of sense though, werewolf focuses on melee, and vampire lord focuses on magic. Kinda balanced, but you can become a vampire lord as often as you want (as far as I know at least), but as a werewolf you can transform twice at the max per day

Magic should look darker and different than any other spell we know + other ways of firing these spells of.

Ring of Hircine.

And we don't know the specifics of werewolf/vampire transformation in the DLC yet, so we can't say anything for certain.

Exactly. For all we know, they'll make it so you can contract lycanthropy over and over after cures and infinite form changes without the ring of hircine.

Does it? Oh, right, I thought it was only one extra transformation a day.

Sorry for my stupidity, I haven't been a werewolf in a long time /:

Judging by the gameplay of a Vampire Lord we've already seen, I don't think the magic attacks are going to be underpowered... :mage:

I'm confused... you say you're worried about them being too powerful, then compared them to destruction spells... which aren't -.-

Which is it? Lol

Silvers a werewolf thing.... Thats why in all the movies you see them use a steak to the heart and garlic for vampires. And the silver bullets for werewolfs. Maybe ive just been watching too much supernatural....
