Anything like Baldur's Gate or D&D out there?

Post » Thu Dec 01, 2011 10:40 pm

Any rpg hack n slash type games on the 360 out there similar to like Baldur's Gate or D&D Daggerdale? I've tried the Dungeon Seige 3 demo and my buddy and I didnt really dig it. We just want a game where we can kill and loot stuff together while leveling out characters......any suggestions?

Hmm, the only thing I can think of that is even slightly close to that is Two Worlds II's multiplayer. It is definitely worth a rental if all you are looking for is hack n slash and looting.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge

while not quite the same of what you're looking for, might be something worth considering for some fun coop.

I've heard they're actually pretty good.

I don't know how true that is. But they're not comparable to the PC series obviously.

I enjoyed the PS2 version of the game. I used to play it with a buddy and it was a lot of fun.

If you don't mind graphics so much, or the fact it's on PS2, go for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champions_of_Norrath. That game came very close to what Baldur's Gate was. :)

I've never played the PC versions but I thought 1 & 2 were lots of fun even on the Xbox imo.

Well the BG games on PC are completely different games, it's not that it's the same game that plays better on PC. They're party based RPGs. Whereas the Baldur's Gate games on the consoles are hack 'n slash games.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_2:_Fallen_Angel is a possibility. It's not the greatest, but it's not bad either.

I second Sacred II. It takes a few levels to get into it and you have to, HAVE TO, make a good build to compete in the latter difficulties. Lots of loot, lots of fun. I didnt get tired of that game until I hit level 150+. unfortunately Im not sure how many people play anymore. Also a lot of modded equipment out there.

Looked ok to me, but on the 360 version I couldnt find where it says multi-online or any online co-op. I checked IGN site for that. I'm headed over to the 360 site for any info there....thanks though
