right i was all set on getting arkham city today (have put a deposit on it).yesterday i went to curry's (uk electrical chain) to buy a usb memory stick.they were playing a demo of forza 4.wow that looks a bit good,i thought to myself.anyhoo what would you choose to buy first (i wouldn't be able to buy the other game until after skyrim).is forza 4 just like the third one (but with improved graphics),or is it a lot more improved over 3? t.b.h i did like forza 3,but i wasn't blown away by it (just my opinion).my favourite 360 driving game is still project gotham racing 4 (is one of my all time favourite games).after playing batman arkham asylum,i really liked the game, but wanted a whole city to explore instead (which the new game delivers,by all accounts  GAH! i just cannot decide  thanks in advance :batman:

Depends on what you like. I love racing games, so all I'm playing right now (and the only game I've played since New Vegas) is FM4, until Skyrim comes out.

There are a couple new features and improved features from FM3 to FM4. The graphics being the main one, the cars look borderline real.

I love Forza 4, but to be honest, it's not exactly a huge improvement on Forza 3. The career mode plays out a bit better, there are some new cars, and there are some interesting new features... but in terms of gameplay, it feels like the same game as Forza 3. And I agree about PGR4 - it's probably my favourite racing game of all time. Forza has the car variety and the superior gameplay, but there was just something about PGR4 that made it so enjoyable. Even though it's 4 years old, it still looks more visually appealing to me than Forza 4 because of all the weather effects. Forza seems kind've lifeless in comparison.

If you weren't blown away by Forza 3 then Forza 4 probably isn't going to blow you away either, so you might be better off going with Batman. Or you could always buy one of the two games, play through it fairly quickly, then trade it in for the other.

Well, considering that it seems that you've been waiting for a while to play BAC and are basing F4 solely on a demo you saw some guy playing in the store, I'd say put some research into F4 and decide if you think it is better.

They both look phenomenal. I like Batman more so my bias is going to suggest you get AC first and FM4 later.

Depends on you... ME I love Batman and don't like racing games so I Got the CE of Arkham City,Let me tell you that that game is amazing and a 10 in my book in everyway, and i havent' loved any game this much in a long time, This will be my Game of the Year if Skyrim doesn't deliver,I am just saying...I suggest Arkham City but in the end it is up to you. P.S. Arkham City, is above way beyond Arkham Asylum.

batman it is then  to tell you the truth, and i'm not knocking forza 4 at all.it does seem very similar to 3 (obviously graphically much improved).i must admit to preferring a more arcade y racing/driving game, and i do love pgr4  so will continue to play that for my driving hit.batman does look fantastic (looks like there is a lot more to do/all those riddler trophies  i will no doubt buy forza 4 at some point though. i'm hoping that i can get the collectors edition from the independent shop i have reserved the game from, but either way i cannot wait to play arkham city :batman: :goodjob:

Do you have Forza 3? Do you like not spending money on games that will be a nearly identical experience?

I'd say you're getting a much more complete game with Batman (getting it today, can't wait!). I like Forza 3 and will probably get 4, but I don't think it's worth it until the price goes down a bit.

Ah, if only we humans had some form of cognitive process that would allow us to take decisions for ourselves. :nope: A wild dream perhaps, but I am an optimist.

Good thing we have this forum available. A place where we can get help from the wise, helpful and polite forumers without having to worry about being ridiculed with sarcastic remarks and foul language. :D
