I don't know if this is old didn't find a search related to appearance changing, just downloaded Dawnguard and glad they have the change appearance, I have started new games just because I didn't like a certain thing about my heroes look. I play in 3rd person pretty much all the time, my Nord looked too much like Arnold Schwarzenegger and I didn't like some face details. Thumps up for that addition.

I agree, it's nice to be able to change your character's appearance. I have visited several times now.

This. Even necromage still works. I change my face all the time doing that.

I find it weird that the riften face changer lady knows your a evil master vampire lord, and doesn't panic. She then proceeds to speak to you in a insulting tone of how you changed your looks via a different route.

She may be more powerful than you think

Bethesda screws us again. I really have to cure my vampire character just to mold my face? What if my character doesn't want to become a mortal piece of meat? What if their elitist attitude and perfectionist tendencies keep them from even desiring a cure?
