Not at all, have you seen the current Apple line and the parts that go into them? Now THAT is overpriced garbage.

People just have money to piss away lately it's totally amazing. Got a catalog in the mail yesterday that had an 8ft X-mas tree in it for $999 dollars which is beyond stupid. Hate to say it but i'm tempted to do what that youtube guy did saying someone give me money.

Yeah. I remember seeing an Apple 2 on sale in Newcastle for £650 back in the early '80s; that was contrasted to the higher spec BBC Model B's price of £400, and that was by then considered over-priced. Dunno what the equivalent of £650 would be 30 years on, but probably not that short of $6,000.
