Are the broken Quest ever going to get fixed?

I am really getting annoyed with these broken quest. Is Bethesda ever going to fix them or are we stuck screwing around using console commands on the PC?

I have yet to encounter any broken quests. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I don't think this is a common problem.

Anyway, I'm sure Bethesda will fix them soon. Fixing a quest isn't always as simple as fixing other, more minor bugs.

Bethesda has stated that quest fixes wont becoming until after the first of the year, and yes it is a common problem. The bugs are just weird I am thane of Riften with one character and bugged with another go figure.

I guess I'm lucky. 14 toons, very different races, styles of play.... NO quest bugs. And even though I'm on PC, I don't have to console anything at all. (Well.... I console unlocks if it's one of those stupid master or adept doors/chests which I KNOW isn't going to give me anything but a few gold.... *sigh*)

I have hade my first broken quest after 200+ hrs time to put the game away till it's fixed. and for them asking for DLC's stop asking let them fix it first cuz I'm not flushing money down the craqer for a game i can't play. they need to fix it first...

I've found a few mostly in the college but they can be fixed with console commands.

It sure would be nice to be able to finish the Thieves Guild questline. I barely started it when my questline became completely borked and not even console commands will fix it. I have a Daedric quest that won't begin too. Sigh.

I really do feel for the PS3 and Xbox 360 peepz, I'd hate to not have my console commands. I would've had a few gamebreaking quest issues without them.

I have come across like 3 or 4 broken quests, quests which either will not start or for some reason can't finish

Sadly, I feel like I've seen every single quest bug there is with my first character and he's put on the waiting list for now until they're fixed. With the other ones, I have only done the guild quests so far and haven't seen much issues. Sad enough they cannot fix the quest bugs because they still need to get the game running properly for everyone ... on a console, no less.

Only 2 quest progression bug issues for me in almost 300 hours of playing, other then that the game is great and Beth fix Forsworn conspiracy, it's the most bugged quest in the game which is the main reason why I'm avoiding that quest.

Nearing 600 hours of play and I've seen my share of bugs, I could list them off but that would be boring. At least forty quest bugs so far, maybe ten or so graphical errors and a handful of crashes.

No quest fixes till at least January according to Bethesda. Which in reality means no quest fixes until probably February, unless we are very lucky...

600 hours? B.S. That's 25 straight days. The game came out on 11/11, you posted on 12/21, 40 days that you've owned it. That means you must be spending about 90% of your waking hours playing skyrim. Unplug dude.
Listing the bugs you've encounteded is not boring, it's information that Bethesda needs to fix the bugs.

They'll get fixed quick for the PC once the Creation Kit's released.

As for official patches, considering Bethesda's track record with Oblivion and FO3, I'm not holding my breath. Oh, some of the worst bugs will get patched, but the minor ones? Those'll get handled by modders, and the console players will be out of luck.

I'd like to be wrong for once. Bethesda, please prove me wrong. Take notes from that HUGE list that's being made for the unofficial Patch, and make those fixes official.

This.
Only console gamers really need hold out for gamesas fixes, PC gamers will see more data fixes and sooner, and likely orders of magnitude more than console gamers will ever see. (edit: thanks to modders)
I am really hoping that gamesas does make the effort, there is (read: must be) a lot of cut material that I would hope we get as free content updates, ie. Companions, Winterhold, Bard's College content that didn't make release, what did make it for those guilds is an embarrassment to the TES franchise.

you have it backwards....an x box is made for gaming, i play all my games on an xbox and they run fine...the only problem i have with the game is not being able to rehire illia after the dark tower quest and the foresworn conspiracy quest is a bit buggy but its not hard to work around and not gamebreaking. the only gamebreaking thing was that bad patch, but patch 1.3 is actually fine and my game runs good with it, and magic resistance is fixed, so i don't have any complaints about the game other than some minor quest and follower bugs.

I'm playing on PS3 and since release and I haven't had but one broken quest, and that was a radiant al one. It might have something to do with that I haven't patched it a single time, because after reading about massive amount of bugs that came with patches I think I'm going to leave updating for later.
