Are the falmer stupid? : V

At least the ones that live in dwemer ruins must be. Why don't they use the dwemer weapons and armor that can often be found there instead of their crappy gear? Also, how do they communicate? I've never heard them speak. Hell, even the draugr will speak at times (other than the thu'um).

Read the Falmer: A study in-game that's found in Markath, should give you some info. Also the Flamer hate the Dwemer so why would they use the stuff of something they despise? I wouldn't.

They are basically the aftermath of what Hitler did to those he deemed "inferior", give them a break.

From what I understand about the Dwemer, they didn't have a Hitler/Thalmor superiority complex. They simply wanted to use them otu of greed. Rather despicable if you ask me.

Falmers are pretty darn good archers considering they're blind and all.

That and they've managed to remain illusive for ages. Some people don't even believe they exist.

Most times I find Falmer, I use 100 sneak and invis potions and just walk on by. I know it's just a game but I hate the idea of a whole race just.. enslaved and treated so badly. Like Karliah said, the Dwemer were cruel indeed.

They are agressive towards you for a reason, give em some love and spare them. :3

People must remember that their fate was because of their aggressive nature towards the Nords. They attacked Saathal without warning and butchered all the Nords there without a second thought - men, women and children. Some would argue that they deserve their fate.

I personally think they are disgusting creatures and all of them deserve what they got and now we should wipe them out. 1 less Mer race to worry about...

It was mainly directed at the experimenting, not their leaders.

They arent half bad at ambushes either, the amount of times I been walking down a quiet cavern and then all of a sudden " they're coming out of the Walls!". You also have to admire the fact that they have domesticated the Chaurus, one of the most dangerous creatures in Skyrim.

That's because what happened to them made them vile, evil and twisted. The Dwemer may have done terrible things to them but at least they were still capable of showing compassion. The Falmer do not.

I apply my same logic towards the Falmer as I do bandits, If not more so.
In the long run Falmer are going to kill more people, and if you kill them, you save people in the future. If I ever met one who was non-agressive, i'd let it live, but as it stands every one I kill is doing the world a service.

That being said, I wouldn't of killed the ones in blackreach if they weren't keeping slaves, they couldn't get out and technically I was invading their home, so I did have reservations about that.

The falmer have hunched backs and long, clawed feet. I just don't think the Dwemer armor would fit their body shape.

You can get a full set of playable Falmer armor (cuirass, boots, gauntlets and helmet) in one dwemer ruin and it can be upgraded at a forge using chitin. You can also upgrade their weapons.

Yeah, because the nords aren't the most blood thirsty race out there....actually....wait a second.....Ysgramor slaughtered an entire nation of elves just to settle some land....if anyone deserves it, its the nords.

No, he came to skyrim and murdered the elves so he could settle on their land. Then the elves retaliated. You are also forgetting that he dwemer are elves as well.

While i travelled to Markarth I came across an abandoned caravan near the Reach. I saw a small camp on the other side of the river and seeked information for what happened to the caravan. This camp was abandoned too, so i walked up a small path into a canyon. There was an entrance to a cave. Inside the cave were the remainings of the travellers. They were raided and then slaughtered one by one by the Falmer as mentioned in a traveller′s journey. So there was no mercy to share with this creatures...
