Lol, strange review they are saying "Fallout is one of the best role-playing games to be released in several years." And giving 8.7 for the game, cool.

While reviewers generally get a copy a bit before it hits the shelves that still doesn't give them much time to play the game thoroughly, write their review, and then get it approved by their editor. I can't think of any time I've been able to read a review of the final product and still had the option of pre-ordering the game.

Yeah, crazy isn't it? Once upon a time, in the long, long ago, game reviewers actually used the entire 1-10 scale. Now I feel like most only use 7-10, or if they are really disappointed in a game, 6-10. I honestly think that most reviews should not have a score, be it number, percentage or star. Reviewers should write out a thorough and well thought out review and discussion of the game's systems and gameplay and pros and cons, then give their opinion at the end and call it that. It would be the most honest thing to do.

Yeah, I like CAG's reviews the most, they give a recommended value which is always useful.
