A friend lent me Fallout 3, I loved it. Immediately bought New Vegas last week, playing fine until about Level 5.

The game freezes everywhere, it is not smooth gameplay at all.
At times, the frame rate must be about 4FPS, never seen anything like it.
Companions get constantly stuck, won't respawn after fast travelling.
Just now, the whole thing stopped and quite back to the PS3 XMB.

On another note, I pursued the Mr House missions, and subsequently the Legion Assassin's frequently attack me. They are too far away for VATS, have pin-point accuracy and spawn always in groups of 6. Armour is tough as steel, no getting through. This makes it completely unplayable anymore, as anywhere I go, they follow.

I think it is so frustrating that you pay ￡300 for PlayStation 3, ￡40 for the game, and it acts as if it's 10 years old playing on a PS1.

Bethesda, I don't see how you can continue to produce this game, or release it in the first place, with these obvious bugs. Look on Google, everyone is saying it. It's annoying especially because it has the potential to be a brilliant game.
Anyone else encountered these problems? Found solutions?

Some people have had XMB menu crashes(return to te XMB during gameplay) and lag/freezing issues, you can look through the forums and try and find solutions. me, I'm selling my copy, but still trying to play it.
