Are you buying DLC? (PS3 users only)

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:18 am

I'm not buying anything. You know .. because of the gltiches and all. I say they make the DLC free for us PS3 gamers.

Well, i dont know my time but i'm 33 level, didt martkath, winterrun, winterhold, every single little quest i've came across, companions, college f winterhold, and many more stuff.. more than 60 hour i guess.. Been messing and droping things without fear, like shoutiong to tables etc. 5.9 mb save file. Started after 1.4 patch. Auoto save on every 5 minute and auto save on rest and quick ravel are on.

Yet i only had lags rarely there and there, like places with dust or waters etc. And only had 1 unfinished loading screen at around level 4-5, and just 1 unfinished mics quest, that i need to collect a bounty from skald, jarl of dawnstar, i did but the quest doesntt dissapear, and thats all..

So yeah, i'll probraly will be getting dlc^^

It comes out first on Xbox so we'll se how it goes, Then I'll decide

I thought xbox and ps got it the same time? Usually a month or so after PC gets the beta?

they should not make it free that's unfair. sure we had problems but we got through it, and yes i'm going to buy the dlc, unless it's like 40 bucks lol, my max for dlc is 15, but maybe 20 for TES, good DLC.

Not gonna happen. You've got to be reasonable if people are going to take you seriously.

I never buy DLC but I will buy the GOTY edition in the distant future if it looks like they have fized the game and all patches are on the disc with no need to download them.

GOTY edition will probably be the way to go.

BethGS honestly did not know about the lag issues. That is why they were asking for peoples save files. This is not the first time something like this has happened for a PS3 game. BethGS was sorry about it, and have since fixed the problem, and are still actively patching the game.

I have had a great many glitch encounters.... I will probably buy DLC at some point, but I am least not going to be Beth's PS3 playtesters any longer.

I will also plan on the DLC introducing more bugs than it fixes, as that's been Beth's previous patter thoughout the years. (Unless a Beth spokesman does an interview with a gaming site and tells me that the "PS3 versuion is going to get a lot of attention".)

You are just [censored]ing like a little child who didn't get their way.
then why did they not give any review copies of the ps3 version out? ps magazine had to wait till launch be able to review the game. also a few months ago they stated that they the new a small percentage of ps3 users would run into these problems

after all the problems I've had with skyrim i will not buy dlc i could not play the game for months, not to mention if you have played fallout 3 dlc or fallout new Vegas dlc the freezing and framerate was much worse than the normal game. skyrim freezes and framerate were the worse experience I've ever had with the game and I will not be paying them to make my game worse.
on a sidenote I believe when people buy the dlc they will probably run into alot of problems on ps3

If it's good DLC then I'll buy it.

The biggest bugs are the ones up peoples arses... I'm not buy cos of bugs... should be free. Get a grip ffs, I've had nearly a 1000 hrs of playing time and it has been brilliant. one of the best games I've played in 20+ yrs of gaming. I got about 20 hrs fun out of Uncharted 3. Looks amazing, plays amazing, last as long as a indoor firework, Skyrim is REAL value for money!

yeah no choice really and besides a lot less glitches in skyrim then there were in oblivion. also they seem to be paying attention to us more now so thats a plus. honestly why do a lot of ps3 users think there entitled to something free from skyrim... you want to satisfy that? well guess what you do get something free its the patches being made to the game enjoy :)

Alas, I got rid of my PS3 version. Was unplayable.

I'm not a PS3 guy but I'd just like to make sure everybody remembers that Bethesda doesn't plan on making Skyrim's DLC like the normal everyday DLC we normally get on games nowadays. They made it quite clear that they're planning on making each DLC they bring to Skyrim are going to be big. And the way they were wording it sounded more like expansions if I'm honest, so even though a lot of people on the PS3 have been experiencing a lot more bugs than other platforms, I think it will definitely be worth considering on getting the DLC for Skyrim. It will definitely be worth the money.

They are working really hard on trying to optimise the game with patches to work sufficiently on your system.

Their idea of BIG and mine are most likely different. When they brought out some of the DLC for F3 they said they were big, I wasn't as impressed as some with the size of the add-ins. They have pointed to their Point Lookout DLC for F3 as being around the size they mean by big. It was in terms of land area and it had a '\"quest" that crossed over back to the main game that people crowed about but the other quests in the DLC were ho-hum.

We will see when they actually put it out if big means in-game land area, large download file, or lots of new quests or a couple really big quests. I'll be optomistic until they give me a reason not to be...like saying "we are giving the PS3 version a lot of attention".

For free? Ha!

I'll definitely buy DLC! I also feel that Bethesda are being quite generous with adding kill cams with a damn patch!
