Why or why not?

Yes. I would hate a WoW type system. Although co-op might be cool.

I would never be able to do co op because I am always off doing my own thing.

Well it depends... I played Baldur`s Gate LAN multiplayer quite happily with a friend.

If Bethesda could keep the RPG aspects of their game without turning it into some COD shootfest and make it multiplyer LAN or Net then I`d live with it.

Hopefully, not like Two Worlds though which made Lan play impossible and had some weird roundabout online way of doing it. It was basically crap.

Yes...This would destroy the series I love soo much.I hope that Bethseda doesn't hear the new players begging for a "skyrim multiplayer".I maded another thread with some stupid ideas giving "by kids about how should be the multiplayer in skyrim",homever it was locked.Anyway like some people said:

Yes. Although there wasn't a chance it was going to happen anyway.

Yes, I'm happy there is no multiplayer. I wouldn't be able to play it at all due to region blocks if it had one.

What Bethesda hears is money.

I'm not too interested in seeing Skyrim as a multiplayer/co-op.

It was only a matter of time before one of these threads appeared today...

There's already threads on this in the Skyrim mods section.

I'd love a multiplayer! Getting to run around killing dragons and such with a couple friends?! Yes please!

Stop comparing this to WoW retards. That's not what we want at all so quit saying it. Get your heads out of your asses

Yes I am happy that -Competetive- Multiplayer was not included purely for all the mess it brings and the things needed to be sacrificed for its inclusion.

However make not mistake, with the rate people have been calling for Multiplayer getting ever louder, those Dollar signs at beth will explode. and if theres a will theres a way..unfortunately in this case.

In of that I wouldn't Mind Co-op as long as it did not screw anything else with regards to SP.

if not it is my Opinion that Multiplayer mechanics of anykind can burn ;p

Not Multiplayer as in online servers with lots of people, I'd never like that.
But a simple way for me and a freidn tp play Co-Op in one of our games.

My brother play this game too, it was he who introduced me to TES 3 years ago. And we'd like to just boot up the game and play together. Through Steam.
If he could take the place of my follower, it would be awesome. A follower with at least some intelligence would be great.

I'd hate to have to log in and play with a bunch or trolls or people I don't know, but I do understand why people would want a co-op to play with their friends (most games have some sort of co-op these days). Personally I'm against any sort of MP when roaming the tundras of Skyrim. I wouldn't mind seeing a PvP arena though, we all think our dragonborns are the best and totally badass so why not put it to the test? This option would of course be totally optional.

MP would destroy the TES series. I can live with it being dumbed down, but an additional MP would make it one of these usual games like COD.
TES is something special and it should stay that way.

Because in the modders making it, the sacrifices during developement of the main game do not exist, and its even MORE optional than it would be if it was included. it is infact not apart of the amount of coin you shelled out for the game, thus if you are wholly opposed to MP of any kind you wont feel your paying for something you -realy- dislike ;o

Yes. Multi-player has no place in a TES game sorry to say, i think it would ruin the series if they had multi-player, they should continue to focus on single player stories and not worry about online content.

There already multiplayer thread for TES series in the Elder Scrolls Series Board.

Also what don't people get about Skyrim can't be multiplayer ever as it would take years of new programming for the engine which they can't really change at this stage. But as for future ES games I would like to see a slight bit of multiplayer, like co-op or maybe an online deathmatch in a certain town in the game.

I'm not remotely interested in multi-player. TES is single-player and a personal experience. People have the option of playing other multi-player games with their friends. They don't need TES too. I want the resources that go into making these games to stay right where they are. Just mho. :)

how will it dystroy the series?

Because TES is one of the best single player RPG series around. Once multiplayer gets added, it won't be a completely single player series anymore.

Hell no. MP would mean slimming down the SP experience because it gobbles up resources during production. However, a coop mode, strictly for playing the game might be fun. Like adventurin' with A'I' companions but with a friend. And damn balancing the game for it; let's just rip through like we'd do alone.

But then it's not a must of course. Probably more complications for Beth than it's worth unless they force you to make two different characters/save games for SP and coop respectively.

In short I think TES should stay (the last?) bastions of SP. Easy for me to say, I never play online anyway.

even if the modders make it? cause technically tes would still be a single player franchise
