Are you there for the people ? the Divines ? the darkness ?

Hello Everybody !

Just want to open another discussion on this matter. ( It's me again , haters )
Which side you are you with ?

Are you fighting for the people of Tamriel , protecting them ?
Are you there for the worship of The Nine , to banish their enemies ?
Are you there cause you seek fame and glory ?
Are you there for the profit and the easy life ?
Are you there for a specific Daedra lord ?
Are you the creation of Pandomay itself and seek destruction on the land ?

It may wary , and most will choose the darkness , however , what's the side you're there to death !?

I'm there because they snatched me up and tried cutting off my head... then a freakin' dragon came out of nowhere! Now for some reason I can't get out of Skyrim so I'm stuck.

I'd be back in Cyrodiil , back into the civilization , creating an army to banish all darkness !

With my first character, all I wanted to do was help the people of Skyrim. I ran into quite a few bugs that prevented me from achieving this goal. Maybe because of this, my new character is a DB assassin who causes chaos wherever she goes.

I'm pretty sure I know where you stand, iZsoul - if our paths ever cross in Skyrim, there will be blood!

Half this, half "I'm on my own way".

Mm, serveral characters I play fit pretty easily into those:

My Imperial Nightblade does what he does for personal goals; however these goals can often fall into protecting (perhaps not purposefully) the people of where he is, several of the quests had him doing this, where he ended up saving people while actually only trying to find out what was going on.

The bosmer thief that I'm currently focusing on getting through the far-end of the thieves guild does it for wealth and fame, or rather for the infamy.

Hirmire, the rather generic nord paladin that I played for a time had pretty obvious fittings on there.

The one that I'm having the most problems with would be my Dumner Nerevaraine (who I rolled into Skyrim due to his immortality and such)
who follows the Psijic Endeavor. "He does that for himself" is the best answer I can come up with for that one.

(Long time lurker btw, first post... no idea why it took me soo long)

Are you fighting for the people of Tamriel , protecting them ? With my dying breath. (which will probably be FUS RO DAH!)

Are you there for the worship of The Nine , to banish their enemies ? If that is what the nine wish.

Are you there cause you seek fame and glory ? Not really, he does have alot of gold from his adventures and doesnt mind it making wealthy, but hes not in it for the money. He doesnt PARADE around with his money. He always makes his own weapons and armour, never buys them.

Are you there for the profit and the easy life ? Not really, he enjoys peace and tranquility, but if needed, he will heed the call of duty and adventure.

Are you there for a specific Daedra lord ? No, but he doesnt hate Deadric princes either, he will only help them if there need is not evil, or it means keeping their artifacts out of the wrong hangs and he needs not kill anyone innocent.

Are you the creation of Pandomay itself and seek destruction on the land ? I will admit, where he goes minor destruction ussually follows, but not out if intention, and no one ever gets harmed, only his enemies...

Gutslit's got a good heart deep down, but he's not there for anyone intentionally. He's protecting his sanity and doesn't really have much empathy. He likes to help even if he gets nothing despite seeming like he just wants to kill everyone due to his easy to provoke nature.

He hasn't worshipped a single divine or daedric prince since his parents were killed for Talos worship. He considers religion a source of pain and suffering.

He doesn't want fame. He doesn't want people to pay much attention to him. He wants to be allowed to keep to himself. His life has never been easy and he'd rather find peace even if it isn't comfy. He's living for finding peace somehow. He had high respect for Hircine, but doesn't worship him. Gutslit may be a typical moon sugar loving Khajiit, but hunting is his passion. He hopes to live his afterlife on the hunting grounds. Gutslit likes money and is a thief, so yes, he is doing many things for profit.

He views any form of unneeded destruction as pointless. He only makes highly violent threats so he can be sure everyone leaves him alone when in Taverns or when trying to pry too deep into his thoughts.
