I think Minecraft's is better. Everything is 3-D, the water effects are great, the weather effects are greater. Arena is kind of... a cartoon to me.

Never seen Arena's before, but just google image'd, and Minecraft's graphics are definitely better.

There is no disputing it, Minecraft has better graphics in every objective way.
Art style =/= graphics.

Arena's art assets are massively superior. But it doesn't have better graphics. It has seriously better artwork, but they're 2D sprites with choppy animation. That is, of course, because it's 17 years old.

Who ever picked yes or about the same must be on some kind of drugs. Arena looks horrible compared to Minecraft. Even the old web browser Minecraft looks better than Arena.

No, Minecraft uses 3D models, whereas Arena used a lot of 2D sprites(iirc?).

The blocky style of Minecraft is intentional as well.

I suppose Minecrapt has more advanced graphics, whereas Arena's is the illusion of 3D.

Daggerfall, on the other hand, is beautiful.

I've played both. Minecraft is a 3D game while Arena is not and I think Minecraft definitely edges ahead in the graphics department. Graphically, Minecraft does remind me quite a bit of Daggerfall, however, but I think Minecraft looks a bit better than Daggerfall, as well... yet not by much.

the default texture pack for Minecraft makes it seem less quality than it is because they are a mess of misplaced pixels, even the most basic of texturepacks will clean up the look and makes it way better. that said, even the default texture pack looks better than arena, and daggerfall too.
