Why isnt the Arena in skyrim it would be an nice little feature to have. Seriously tough in Oblivion it was awesome but lacked some things , what do you think?

Why did beth take it away from skyrim , even though there were some flaws in oblivion , why wouldnt have that in skyrim , i get that its this nordic land but its an imperial province , plus i think everyone would like to see dragonborn fighting

I loved oblivions arena,It'd be cool if some of the best fighters in Tamriel came to fight against each other and the winner of at least 5 matches becomes a companion.It'd also be a good thing to watch with some nobles.

It was awesome, with the betting and the colisseum-sorta feel to it.

It's probably as intended, they probably think people in Skyrim have more pressing matters, but it would be nice at least some underground fighting club.

Agreed plus i think there should be prisoners in the arena like some thughs and stuff like that

I miss a questline like arena and I hope they add it via expansions.

I would love to have an arena back. silliest thing they have ever done leaving that out.

They could have included it as a way to punish criminals. Or a sport in one hold (say Solitude) that was despised by others etc, etc. It could have easily been implemented. Even having a massive tournament that takes place in each of the holds (creating rivalry) and then a massive one in Whiterun (being central an all). Then when its over and you win you can visit each of the holds and challenge the current hold champion (being one yourself or the overall champion and fight for the title). As I said, many possibilities, especially with radiant story.
