here i am at level 10 and next minute i cant look around,only move forwards,backwards,left and right,but whats the point when i cant look around?!?!?! ive seen ghouls and radscorpions stuck half in and half out of the desert and moments where ive tried talking to some charactor and it sped through the conversation so fast i didnt catch a word.honestly,im fed up.i love fallout to death but come on give me a break,i want to play the game smoothly!!

its a glitch..youll just have to reload an earlier save..

How does he know that? I've never run into the glitch, so I would assume that's at least a valid test. If switching controllers (or turning the controller off and back on) doesn't fix it, then alright, it's a glitch. Try and keep in mind that everyone's experience with the game is quite different.

did this happen after you unlocked a door to a different zone?

and you know good and well too its a common reported glitch with this game..seriously..dont do that..dont make yourself look any worse than you already have by trying to deny what you know it is..really thats just sad..

Yeah, i've seen a few people on here with this issue now.
It seems to be related to the latest patch.

i had it months ago right after the game came out..and at the time there were several other threads reporting it..so yeah its been a common glitch since release..whether some ppl want to admit it or not..

lol im a chick but thats irrelevant.yes i have tried a different controller.i f*cked up the save,i had a autosave and 1 proper save and i screwed them both up.so looks like i have to start again woohoo.do they have the patches on discs that you can buy from a gaming store or do you have to have the net connected to the 360?

right now you have to be connected..i guess if they ever put a game of the year edition out itll have all the dlc and patches on it but thatll be a ways off..svcks you have to start all over.. :down:

I had read ONE thread about this bug before, and didn't follow it to find out if the person just somehow managed to break their controller and blamed the game. Perhaps I would have read more of them if the board wasn't just clogged up with "OMG this game is terrible" posts all day that didn't actually explain any bugs or how they got them. We're going to talk in private...

Anyway to answer 666's question, yes patches can only be downloaded, unless you wait for the inevitable game of the year/collection version that will include a number of DLCs and all the patches in one disc. You may want to consider running a cable from your router to your xbox to connect for a few minutes to get it (assuming you're posting from home and have internet, and not from school/work/a friends place or something). Otherwise, see if someone you know that has internet will let you set up at their place to do it. It doesn't require a gold account or anything, I don't even think you have to have an account (I didn't have any sort of account for months, I just had a cable plugged into my 360, and I was receiving game updates).

thanks.well ive got the net at home on a usb,but i have a connection cord that normally goes from the comp to the laptop,so maybe thatll plug into my xbox and hopefully update?if not fingers crossed there will be a game of the year edt.thanks everyone for youre help.
