So I've been playing my Khajiit for quite some time. I previously made a Wood Elf and joined the thieves guild and was pretty impressed with the beginning armor they provide.

Visually, I thought it looked great, that is, until I obtained it on my Khajiit. The hood looks garbage. Why doesn't it hang over my eyes like my wood elf? I'm so disappointed in that lol. I know it sounds stupid but I love the look of that armor, but without the hood it's useless.
Does anyone else agree? I sure hope there's a mod to fix this because it's really quite lame.

The Nightingale hood makes my Argonian have a normal shaped head. But its ok because the execution hood makes up for it.

Other than that, I am always bothered with the tail of the beast races, why cant I have tail armor?

So far the only thing that's bothered me with my Khajiit is that my Tail goes through the chair when ever i sit.
Haven't tried on some cool looking clothing yet that is messed up, besides the Glass Helmet, the back piece is missing when i wear it, but not something i'd wear anyway

I don't understand why I can, as a Khajit, wear any closed helmet just fine, but if I put on the Worn Shrouded Hood; the hood with a face mask, it doesn't appear at all and it makes my ears disappear.

That bothers me too because they got it right in Oblivion. I guess they redid all the animations, but forgot the little details.

Though i think i've seen it work right on some chairs.

Isn't this the first time Khajiits and Argonians have been able to wear hoods and helms (boots, too)? I know they couldn't through most of the TES series.

In Oblivion they could so its not the first time.

Didn't Bethesda (or Todd) say they were going to make armour designed around the races of skyrim?
Or was I mistaken in believing that they'd make khajiit / argonian / bosmer etc. armour sets?
And that they were in-fact meaning the dwemer, falmer & orc armour sets.

Okay, thx. I knew they added it in sometime, maybe as a way of eliminating drawbacks to what you pick.

I agree with OP, and don't have much to add. Armor selection for my Argonian makes me wanna cry, I even went to mod section and kindly requested Argonian armor mod.

I know this would be extra work for Bethesda so I'm not really blaming them much..

I dunno but it just irritates me. Especially because Khajiits and Argonians are supposed to be the "stealthy" races, and yet the gear is totally designed around the other ones.

Slaves are lucky to have clothes.

Yeah, pretty much this. I always play Argonian and I've been thinking of the same thing.

Agree, annoys the hell out of me. Trying to wear Nightingale armor as a beast race pretty much ruins it, their tails clip through all the armor, instead of having a hole for their tail or tail armor, their tails clip through chairs, their faces are flattened by masks, some helmets look HORRIBLE on them and look more like hats(noticed this with glass and dragonscale), and some hoods clip through their heads.
