Newcomer to the TES games here, and there were a few questions I had that I was hoping you guys might have the answers too after stumbling around the forums, skyrim wiki, and ign guide I was using to try and answer some general questions about what armor to use and the most efficient way to increase stamina.
First off I'll point out what kind of character I'm playing in my first playthrough of Skyrim. My character is a battlemage, focusing on conjuration for summoning helpers, destruction for ranged damage, one handed for close encounters, and then having trouble on deciding between going the light or heavy armor route. I find a lot of useful information regarding heavy armor for warrior classes and light armor for the more rogue-like types, but i've had trouble finding info on what armor would be best for my selected playstyle. I'm trying to take into consideration stamina and armor weight, because early on (level 4) i've noticed that heavy armor takes up alot of inventory space. Which option would you all suggest?
On another note, I wasn't sure when/if to increase my stamina each time I level up. I've read on the forums and on differnet guides that when playing a caster/melee hybrid it's best to put 2 increases in magic for every increase in health, but haven't found much info in regards to stamina (except for guides concerning rouge/stealth characters. What do you all think I should do about my character's stamina?
As for crafting, I'm dabbling in smithing and planning on checking out enchanting soon too in order to add cool effects to armor/weapons later in the game. Not sure if this will make an impact on increasing stamina but just thought I'd mention it.
Thanks for your help!
