im on part 2 of this side quest, where i have to put the warped soul gem into a dwemer convector and use the spell arniel gave to me on the convector.
the first convector, fine; worked as should.
second does not work at any of the convector locations, it keeps telling me to put the soul gem in the final convector.

any way around this? or am i going to have to wait for an update?

Yep, it's one of the more wide-spread quest-related glitches. I've been bitten by it too.

yes warped soul gem issue for ps3 solved..! try leaving one of the gems in the dwemer converter then give arniel one of the soul gems you could try to swtich the other gem if doesnt work the first time... the first gem i gave him worked for me..... only take him One gem !!!!

Did you Dualcast the spell? According to the Elder Scrolls Wiki, doing so glitches the quest.
