I did the quest and I looked everywhere for the Keening dagger and couldn't find it nowhere!!!

I mean I went from top to bottom and nothing!!!!!!!

Can you be a little more specific about what you did? Because this quest completes and restarts in a couple of stages...
You don't have the chance to get Keening until the very, Very end.
