Ash/Goo Pile Interest in Change

Post » Wed Jun 15, 2011 2:36 am

Have you fixed the never despawning ash/goo glitch :fingers crossed:

If we're talking about the same thing, that's not a bug. Fallout 3 functioned the same way.

I have always thought that this was some unresolvable bug in the Gamebyro system, that ash & goo piles NEVER despawn yet the enemies themselves do respawn; however it appears that it was intentional. Am I the only one who would like this changed? I am the only one scared of killing with a critical hit in case some glowing green snot pile gets permenantly scared into the landscape?

When I first read that this was intentional, I was like this.

Then I was like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31g0YE61PLQ

I'M STILL LIKE THIS.

P.S. Yes, this is in fact, the end of the world.

Not only that, but nearby dead people's inventories get copied to the goo piles.
But, other than that, I have no problem with the goo/ash piles.

Nor would I if after 72 hours or whatever they disappeared.

I dont know, I never noticed this problem in new vegas, cause I have only just started using energy weapons since they beefed em up in the last big patch. Now in fallout 3, I made mothership zeta my house, and there was a few alians that I turned into ash piles. They never went away :violin: .I got over it though.Even if it was a blight on my home, which, if yall havnt figured out by my post by now, is a big deal to me in role playing games...
