If Skyrim, BF3, and UC3 weren't coming out this year, I'd say yes.

Nevertheless, RAGE will be amazing, but I feel it'll be overlooked when the end of the year awards are here.

BF3 is crap I was in the beta and it brings nothing new to the table....its plain boring....I was hoping that it would be an epic game but it was not....maybe the actual game will be better we will find out

Skyrim is good, but RAGE is REVOLUTION

Games liked MW3 and Battle Field wont win the GOTY.

Skyrim will mainly be its competitor. Depends on how other games like Lord of the Rings War in the north does.

FPS of the year definitely.

Not overall.

Personally, Best game I've played this year is Dead Space 2, but I'm sure it will be forgotten since it launched in January.

I'm not so sure.

I feel it'll easily get overshadowed by MW3 and BF3, just because both of those games have a more robust MP. However, I completely agree; RAGE will be the best FPS this year hands down.

I played DN3D , Civilizations , Settlers' , Annos , Starcrafts , COD1 , COD2 , COD4 , COD5 , Keen 3D , Wormses , Wolfenstein 3D , Roaller Coaster Tycoons , Crysis , gtas , Age of Empires , Flatout , Company of Heroes , Alien Vs Predators, Unreal , Doom , Quake , Command and Conquers , ....etc

On consoles: Metroids , Zeldas , Starfoxes , SuperMarios , F-Zeros , Super Smash Broses

I've modified: C&C Generals ZH (a lot) , Unreal , COD2 (a lot, admin on custom mod hardcoe only rifle "instagib" server) , COD4 , Starcraft 2 , Visual Studio C++ projects , Crysis (Sandbox Editor Flowgraph code + mapping)


Currently have a custom high end machone with intel quad Q9300 (yeh old) 2.5 GHZ , Radeon HD5850 , Xonar D1 audio , Gigabyte P35-DS4 motherboard , latest Sidewinder mouse and keyboard , Logitech X-540 5.1 Set , Western Digital 1000 GB Caviar Black Sata3 , 6 GB Corsair Dominator RAM




What i can say at the end of this - Rage is a masterpiece.
