I was just reading the UESP wiki on Spell Absorption here http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Spell_Absorption and noticed that Absorption is categorized under Destruction.

Does it mean if I drink potion of fortify destruction it will improve effectiveness of the atronach ability? This is a very exciting possibility. Has anyone tried this? I'll try to test it later today.

i dont think the effect changes if its already active on you, it just changes to effectiveness of new spells you cast/new effects on you


i also dont think the birthsigns are affected by your skill level

I don't think it's only destruction, I've seen people complain about their conjurations being absorbed.

Good point. Then maybe I'll try drinking fortify destruction right before selecting Atronach Stone.

If you're a Vampire, choose the necromage perk THEN select the atronach perk. Then, select the atronach sign. 100% magic immunity.
