Autofail House Always Wins VI : Fallout: New Vegas

So I tell Mr House that I destroyed the BoS Bunker, and as Im talking to him, I autofail House Always Wins VI, why does it autofail? Can anyone help

EDIT: When I turn the quest over to him, I auto fail VI, but I get VII to do, whats going on, why am I not able to do VI and why did it skip it?

Mr. House wants you to protect the president of the NCR, so you'll fail if the NCR are hostile towards you.

Im accepted by them, Where can I do more quests to get them idolized or something close to it?

If NCR aren't hostile, it shouldn't autofail like that. It might be a bug, or the guy you were supposed to meet died. Go to Hoover Dam and look for an NCR trooper named Captain Graham at the reception desk, or outside the building. If you can't find him, then he's probably dead.
