Tell me about your avatar!! I recognize/get most of them, but some of them I don't. What does it mean to you? Why did you pick that to represent you?

Please don't miss-read this as thinly veiled attempt to impress you with my avatar. I really am curious about the community, here... However, I feel it's rude to ask something of someone, which you yourself are not willing to discuss.
Personally I feel the Dragon Riders from Dragonlance embody me wholly. They can be unpredictable, a truly neutral and balancing force in the universe. Some are strong and wise, they rule the skies some fight for truth and love, while others seek power and glory and seek to rule by force. Their battles are epic tales, the stuff of legends.

I picked mine because it creeps people out.
