Hi all,

I have been keen to play through either the Stormcloak or Imperial quests for a while now, however last time I tried I hit a snag. When I had to deliver the axe to Jarl Baalgruuf he told me to complete his dragon quest (Bleak Falls Barrow and the western watchtower fight) before he would give me an answer. The problem is, I have no interest in doing the main quest whatsoever, due to the wild dragons that roam the lands from this point onwards. Is there any way to do the Civil War quest without having to do Baalgruuf's dragon quest? Thanks for any help

Do the main quest until the part where Delphine steals the horn of Jurgen and you meet her in the Riverwood Inn where she wants you to prove you're dragon born by killing a dragon for her to see. Then just tell her you don't have time for this and walk away. End of dragons until you pick up the quest again and you can do the civil war quests to the end.

Does this completely remove all wild dragons?

Yup. Except ones at dragon lairs but you have to go look for those to find them. Random appearances stop completely if you don't go with Delphine and kill a dragon.

Wow I didn't know this! I've been wanting to do the CW quests! Yay!
