Go away crickets!

I made a post about this a few months ago but didn't really think much of it because it didn't bother me too much. Now its really starting to get on my nerves to the point that I'm probably not going to play New Vegas anymore until it is fixed or until I learn a trick to fix it. Here's the problem.

I play on the 360 so I don't know if this issue is just on this version or not but many times the correct "background noise" is not being loaded. For example, if I am in Freeside I can hear screams in the distance, broken bottles, pvssyr, etc. Pretty cool. The problem is that when I leave Freeside and travel very, very far into the mountains, I can, well, still hear it. Same goes for the sound of crickets outside at night time. Pretty neat, but when I go inside a large building or factory, I can still hear them. If I save and load, then the problem is fixed but that becomes a bit of a hassle having to do that every time I enter into a new area. If it was every once in a while that would be fine, but I can't justify having to do this every single time I enter a new loading cell. Is this a problem for anyone else? If so is there any solution? Again, I'm on the 360 so I cannot fix it on my own that I know of.

I've never had this problem and I play on the 360. Is your game installed? If I encounter a glitch that does not go away uninstalling and reinstalling generally fixes it.

I may try that.
