I'm a wood elf and I'm playing on master. So I'm playing thru that hags end dungeon and get to the end she summons two of those ugly frost guys which 1 hit me. So I try all my shouts, some help but still get owned by frost guys. So I'm looking thru my abilitys to see what can help.

I notice I have command animal and think hmm will that help? Heck yea it did as soon as she summoned them I cast it an they rushed her. They killed her, while I pu arrows in her from afar. Then grabbed my reward just as they were coming out of their trance and jumped off ledge and booked it ou of there. They couldn't follow made sur I waved o them as iwas leaving.

im a bosmer too, but ive never used the command animal power, i might have to give it a go.

Yea 1st time I've used it and it's the only reason I killed the hag.

actually i think when i first used the character i triedusing it, but it made all the animals attack me, rather than my opponent. guess i was doing something wrong?

Unless it wore off it only lasts for sixty seconds. Or maybe you accidentally attacked one of them.

So Command Animal worked on summoned Frost Atronachs? That is pretty funny.

I had an "a ha" moment when my mage was fighting a master vampire. I was summoning frost atronachs, hiding where he couldn't get me, then popping up and throwing frost runes, because he would one shot me instantly. Eventually I realized he was just draining the health of the atronachs... I had to be brave and zap him.

No they were not atronachs, was a boss fight and she summoned monsters but forgot their names. The ones that look like abdominal snowmen, I don't think atronachs are animals.

Very cool! I'm getting ready to start a Bosmer and I wondered if that power was any good.

The power svcks, this is just one rare example it was useful. Having wild animals be allies for 60seconds just isn't any good, especially compared to the other racial abilities. Now if it Thrall'd an animal that would be a unique and awesome ability.

What I find most interesting is if she summoned them, how come they didn't unsummon once she was dead?

Beats me, maybe part of the boss fight.

Really picked the class for the +10 in archery but seeing how that power made it so I didn't have to leave dungeon and come back later makes me like it.

I'm not saying your story isn't a cool use of the power. Just that cool uses of that power are few and far between

True but really most of the daily powers kinda svck for all races. Only one that is kinda good is the berserk rage one.

Damn... you all complain about Bosmers in Skyrim? At least they can be made to look bad ass. I could never pull off a mean looking bosmer in Oblivion.
