AWESOME Suggestions by PCWorld's Matt Peckham

Bethesda says that after the update, dubbed v1.2, it'll continue to track issues, so this isn't the end of the line if your problem's not on that list. If, on the other hand, you're holding your breath for more abstract gameplay adjustments, say radiant A.I. fixes where you do something and the game doesn't acknowledge it the way you think it ought to, I'd advise keeping your eye on Skyrim Nexus (and other mod sites). Assuming you're playing the PC version, that's where the future of this game really lies.

I'd love, for instance, to see a mod that gave Skyrim's denizens better spatial and temporal awareness of life and death. So if you kill someone (while hidden) and the body's later spotted, passerby freak out. Or if you kill someone in their home, friends or relatives come looking after so much time's passed. Or if you're crouching around behind people, they try to get away or call the guards instead of ignoring you (forcing you to plan better approach paths). Imagine how much more interesting stealth-based missions in Skyrim could be if they operated on the principles established by games like Thief, Splinter Cell, or Assassin's Creed.

Anyways, I'm just giving some props to this man's voice! Personally, I'd also like to see less carrots in barrels and sacks. :sadvaultboy:

You may now resume your regularly scheduled program - lol. Party On! :mohawk:

That part already happens. People freak, kneel down and inspect the body and ask what happened.

So basically, "mods will fix everything!"

One thing they can't fix is providing official lore.

Also voice acting.

Which cripples my one and only wish of having directions given ingame.

A lot of that already take place. You can even have contracts put on your head if you rob a wealthy NPC. I have three currently sending thugs and assassins after me now and then. It's not easy either. Sometimes they appear during bad times. You can always spot them though because they walk casually until they reach you, lol.

Basically what we expected . Half-finished game, modders forced to fix it. I can't blame them for financially benefitting from the work of others though.

Carrots in barrels is realistic. If I stumble across a bandit camp, I expect the barrels will be filled with vegetables, cured meats, and other provisions. It would be weird if there were enchanted weapons and gemstones.

Now, if I battle to the depths of some dungeon and find a chest with a master lock, I expect riches, uber swords, etc. I do not expect to find cabbages and a lockpick....

Agreed. I've actually had bandits kill townsfolk, someone stumbles onto the body, calls the guard, and then when I walk past the guard starts giving me 20 questions about the murder! If the bandit who committed the crime is still in the area, the guards usually hunt him down. The AI doesn't always work its magic, but when it does it works very well.
