I finished up the Markarth Forsaken questline and I'm now Persona non grata there. I have the bug where I can't pay my bounty and the imperial guards are all very very impatient people.

My character is a bosmer that despises the nords so I'm not interested in joining the stormcloaks to replace the guards.. Unless I can betray them and take it back for the imperials I refuse to support those racist ducks

Any other way to get back into Markarth without getting chased out by those idiots?

i think there is a pc code.

this might help: I snuck out at night with king. random luck. he and his followers successfully killed all guards that came. I don't think I killed any guards, I was trying not to. anyway, I was immediately still welcome in town. the only place I can't go is the temple of talos. guards in there who should actually be gone, will attack on sight because they no longer have script to take me to jail.

maybe the theives guild guy endon can help.
