Back 2 Skool

Anyone else returning to school soon? I wish summer break wasn't over already. My school starts next Thursday, and I still have to do my summer reading project. I'll be in 12th grade and I have a REALLY confusing schedule under the new system which combines a semester-long schedule and year-long alternating days schedule. This is what it looks like:

1st Semester:
1st: AP English Language and Literature (A-days)/AP Government and Politics (B-days)
2nd: Alternative Energies Honors
3rd: Speech and Debate I
4th: Theatre III Honors (A-days)/Technical Theatre I (B-days)

2nd Semester:
1st: AP English Language and Literature (A-days)/AP Government and Politics (B-days)
2nd: Discrete Math Honors
3rd: Shakespeare 101/102 Honors
4th: Theatre III Honors (A-days)/Technical Theatre I (B-days)

I just can't wait to graduate. I'm pretty excited to be taking the new Tech Theatre and Debate classes, I wish they had made them BEFORE my last year.

So, what grade/year/whatever will you be returning too, and when?

I'm starting classes in a couple weeks...Going to go find my schedule.

Edit: Here it is.
Monday
Composition I 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Tuesday
Elementary Algebra 6:00pm - 8:40pm
Programming Concepts 12pm - 1:50pm
Wednesday
Survey of Western Civ 6:30pm - 9:10pm
Thursday
Programming Concepts 12pm - 1:50pm

I think I chose my classes pretty poorly, as the programming concepts one screws with the ability to get a day job. It's painful applying to places and having to put down this availability.

You could go to community college, my mom did it when she was 40 (they were offering bonuses to anyone who took computer classes)

I have cousins in elementary school, it's cute to watch them complain about reading their little kids books or coloring for homework.

You can always go to college in here in the US. A lot of older people go back to school, when I went to take my placement test there were a couple people who were at least mid 30s. This was at a community college, so they're almost definitely just starting school.
Edit: Seems I have it wrong. Do they go to a CC because it's cheaper? That makes a lot of sense.

I have a degree from a prestigious university (that's actually what they call themselves) so I don't really need to go back to college again.

But I did have extra training lined up, but it appears now that I don't qualify, so I'm now unemployed and trying to find work. :(

I would kill to have that schedule. In my district you can't have more than two open periods, even if you've finished your requirements.

I'm already at school. Well... I've been since... last november. I had one week summer vacation in the middle. 7:45 to 16:00 every single day.

Or do we count practical training as school?

It's weird to think I'll never sit another exam. Also I'll probably never go to Liverpool again. :(

I wonder if they'd let me do a master's degree?

I start classes again on Monday, definitely not looking forward to it. Thankfully I only have 3 semesters left, and I'll be done (at least for a while). Here is my fall schedule, which may change. I've already taken most of the classes I need to graduate, everything I'm taking now is pretty much electives.

SOC 210-001 - Quantitative Sociological anolysis

HES 145-001 - Health and Wellness

PSY 121-001 - Health and the Mind

JTC 311-001 - History of Media

PSY 320-002 - Abnormal Psychology

You finished the school of life! Please tell me, great Turns The Page, what is the answer to life, the universe and everything!

My schedule for my 5th semester of College is pretty slack :P let′s look at it from day to day.

Mondays:
08:10 - 10:30 = No classes for me yet.
10:30 - 12:35 = Icelandic classes.
12:35 - 13:15 = Om nom nom lunch.
13:15 - 16:00 programming classes.

Tuesdays:
08:10 - 11:10 = Networking classes.
11:10 - 13:15 = Huge break, better grab a good book to read during that period :D
13:15 - 15:20 = Math classes.

Wednesdays:
08:10 - 11:10 = Database theory classes.
11:15 - whenever I feel like leaving. = P.E. (Already did all of the mandatory academic side of P.E. so it's just playing around in the gym during that period for as long or short as I feel like)

Thursdays:
08:10 - 10:30 = Icelandic classes.
10:30 - 11:15 = Break, more reading'n'eating for me.
11:15 - 12:35 = Programming classes.
12:35 - 14:40 = Huge break, even more reading fantasy books! :D
14:40 - 16:00 = Networking classes.

Fridays:
08:10 - 10:30 = Maths classes.
10:35 - 11:15 = Break which will probably be used for getting something to eat.
11:15 - 12:35 = Database theory classes.

Yeah, I′m pretty happy :D Granted I am also taking English this semester but I just haven't had the updated timetable but who cares where English goes, it's such an easy class that they will feel like breaks anyway.
