Same thing happened to me in Fallout 3. When I'm walking straight it's smooth as silk but when I quickly turn around the FPS drops to like 2 frames per second before retaining the smoothness.

I get terrible FPS when turning or strafing. On my 360 I expected such, but not on this rig.

Thats what I been trying to say when I say my game studders. It does when turning in circles or when entering a casino with lots of people around.

Thanks for the list! Tried the d3d9 fix made it a little faster but it still stutters when I turn around. I haven't tried that registry thing yet, does it really work?

Set water multisampling to low.

I noticed this issue, upgrading to the latest Forceware driver solved it, downgrading to 186.18 also worked.

That didn't help me at all. I set it to low and no change whatso ever.
