Bad to the Bone.

Does anyone fins it way easier to earn good karma in NV?
I like playing an evil bastard that eats people and for some reason im still good or neutral.
I am probably going to start over and side with the powder gangers, but besides that I haven't really done anything good at all.
If you are attacked unprovoked you shouldn't receive any karma good or bad.
I've been killing a good amount of fiends and powder gangers not because I'm good but because they shoot at me!
I eat a good amount of people too and I'm still not considered bad.
I'm going to give this a second try but it seems much harder to be bad this time around aside from simply killing everyone you meet.

It was easy to GAIN karma in FO3 too; it was actually harder to lose it and keep it down since damn near every enemy you killed was a bad guy and gave you karma.

I like the Reputation system in NV a lot more than FO3. I just have a couple problems with it: I don't want to see "Karma gained/lossed" when performing actions; I don't want to feel bad for robbing from raiders. I also want all items marked in RED to show the owner. Sometimes it's unclear who's rep will be affected by taking something. It would be nice to know who's going to start shooting at me when I pick up this stimpack, know what I mean?

what lvl are you?
my first char is a lvl 9 thief, he hasn't murdered anyone or anything, he only picks pockets and steals and he's already considered Evil.

I agree if your attacked it should be karma-less
taking their stuff should be karma bad

Level 15.
I haven't done anything remotely diplomatic either.
In just about every circumstance where I have to pay/ do something for an object, I just kill the person instead.
Maybe I have been doing good deeds and not realizing it?
I disagree about the F3 comment.
In my experience being evil in that game was far easier.

just steal some [censored], no matter what you steal or from whom, freind or foe, you get negative karma

you kill people and you're considered good, i steal and I'm considered evil, doesn't make any sense. maybe you should just steal a lot like cgjoe44 said.

Unless there's a name on it, you wouldn't know that anyway...
