balanced playstyle for difficulty-try it

After playing skyrim since release, and playing on all difficulties,i have found it difficult to find a "rewarding" playstyle.
That word will have different meanings for everyone i know, but if your anything like me,you want your skyrim adventure to be rewarding no matter what class you play as.In my opinion, the journey is the reward, and getting to the end of a quest should be earned.

Anything less than expert is too easy for most who put time in,and master is too easy for most aswell, for anyone in fact if they understand the components of the game at their disposal.

The point of my thread is to share with you my playstyle, that i offer to anyonne to try out who may be having trouble finding that perfect difficulty for their character

I can cruise through the game on master,i have put enough hours in to not see the challenge anymore.
Here is how i have made my time in skyrim "rewarding"
Firstly, play on adept- its balanced, you and your opponents hit and take damage on a level field.
I have always found it cheap to pause the game mid combat and swig a tasty health potion, and all of a sudden be 100percent again,in "my" opinion this makes you more or less invincible,it is god mode, for your enemys cannot do this, why should you?For me this feels more realistic and more rewarding, and on adept it is not impossible to survive, but it does bring tacticts into the equasion if you want to avoid sovengarde for that little while longer.
This is such a small thing that changes the whole complection of the games combat, its more realistic, and makes you think twice before you draw your blade.

If anyone plays like this i would to know how your finding it,for me it does alot to immerse me to every aspect of my character, and makes all those perks 10x more significant.
Just putting it out there as i havnt heard anyone mention this before

cheers all

Actually, they can. Draugrs and random animals just don't carry potions around with them. Ever fight one of the skooma selling NPCs, for example? When they get low on health, they pop potions mid-combat instantly.

Point taken-hold my hands up i never noticed the skooma guys doing that, but if im not mistaken dont the draughr use magic to heal?Restoration is also made a little more viable in my playstyle i feel

Adept + Dead is Dead. No, your game is not super-hard all the time, but if you die...you're dead. :violin:

Can you even die on adept if you're used to master? I don't remember the last time I died on master tbh once I got used to being careful. Though I do have to admit that this style of gameplay is very slow level-wise and I suppose not everyone enjoy playing at the same level for a whole week. :P

I also don't use potions mid fight, but If my health starts getting low then I try to run for cover and then eventually use it, while also healing my teammates with healing hands spell.

I also try to downplay sneaking. Sneaking can be fun, but when it let's me clear room full of bandits without them finding me that's kinda stretching it. So, I just shot one and then stop sneaking so they can discover us.

Well in order to make things tactical in-game the simple thing to do is to not allow the use of items "instantly". Like you look thru your menu and select heal potion BAM! your healed. There is no quick drinking animation or anything like that for the case of realism should be implemented in the game and as for tactics I always try to stick to high-ground on my assassin. I pull my bow out, maybe place a frost rune and use a slow poison to keep them at bay long enough and weakened for me to finish them off quickly with my dual-daggers. Also I since I love to use daggers I use a useful combo of daggers. I use mehrunes razor and a paralyze dagger, like this I can paralyze the enemy and then while they lay there helpless I beat them down with the razor until that instant kill kicks in. Bam! end of my foolish foes. (or a paralyze poison.)
