Does any one like this dog?

He shoves.

He gets in the way.

I was trying to tell Aranea to pick something up and this annoying black snout pops into view at the last second and as I press the A button I see the text change form "take ebony sword" to "Attack Barbas". Argh.

BARBAS!!!

I must get rid of him immediately!!!!

But.... is there any good reason to keep him? I hope not!!!

A friend of mine has been using him to tank because he's completely unkillable. That means the player can cast fire spells at the enemy all day and not worry about his "companion" getting in the way.

But yeah, Barbas will literally try to kill you. I've seen him push my friend's character off a mountaintop. It's a demon dog; what do you expect?

He's a royal pain in the armor, that one!
Only suggestion I have is do the quest as fast as possible, using Fast Travel to the locations nearest the objectives, then sprinting passed all obstacles (bears, cats, whatever...) until you get there. Do not take horse or follower on this quest as you will regret it. When finished, FT back to start, and dump the dog!!!

LOL glad its not just me! I will take your advice fellow adventures. Barbas' days are numbered!
